Students form 2-6 member groups,
Select subtropics from a broader whole class unit of study, and produce group reports, followed by each group making culminating presentation.

3) each team decides what resources they will need to carry out their investigation
4) groups gather information from a variety or sources
5) groups prepare a final report
6) the class meets all together and groups present their findings to class
