What is a compiler?
It turns high level language (such as python) into machine level language (binary). A compiler translates the whole program only after every line has been translated.
What is an interpreter?
It turns high level language (such as python) into machine level language (binary). An interpreter would translate one line and run that line straight away before moving to the next line and repeating the process
