Simple surgery as a last resort
Drain lungs of pneumonia
Set broken bones and could amputate

Alexandria - human dissection allowed, trained medics and surgeons, used accurate observation

How did the Greeks stay healthy?
Believed they needed to sleep well, eat healthy and exercise - Regimen.
Hygiene also important, emphasis on washing
Followed a diet that changed with the seasons e.g. Eating lots in winter and drinking little while drinking more in summer and eating less
