The negocient business run by Vinos Auténticos. All wines are on the premises
of the Valenzuela family of Bodega Barranco Oscuro. The Purulio wines are made with grapes bought from vineyards
situated in the mountain range of “Sierra de La Contraviesa”.
As these are wines made out of the Appellation (Denominación de Origen), it is not allowed to
say in the label the name of the area where they come from: “La Contraviesa” and that is why
there is a word-game and the wines are called “La Traviesa” which means “Naughty”. The image
in the label is from an old film called “Naughty Marietta”.

2015: Vino de Espana,Tinto

The vineyards are situated in the mountain range of Sierra de La Contraviesa. Hand-harvested, de-stemmed, with 3-5 days maceration and then pressed. Spontaneous fermentation lasts 20-30 days in stainless steel. Aged for 1 year in French oak barrique (225L). Practicing Organic.

The vineyards are situated in the mountain range of Sierra de La Contraviesa. Hand-harvested, de-stemmed, pressed, fermented with secondary fermentation in bottled to finish.
