Drop the final る, then add て to the stem
う verb (て)
Group 1: う、つ、る
Drop the final sound of the verb and add ~って
Group 2: む、ぶ、ぬ
Drop the final sound of the verb and add ~んで
Group 3: く
Drop the final sound of the verb and add ~いて
Group 4: ぐ
Drop the final sound of the verb and add ~いで
Group 5: す
Drop the final sound of the verb and add~して

Asking someone to do an action
Combining 2 sentences using て form
Combine 2 sentences together if two action are being performed.
Done consecutively!
Grammar ~てもいいですか
This is used for asking permission to do something. “May I do something”
Grammar ~てはいけません
This form us used when expressing a general prohibition of an action. This means that one “must” not do something
Grammar ~ても
“Even if ~” so even if a situation comes to pass, the person will still do an action or a situation will occur.
Grammar たとえ
Similar to ~ても but used at the beginning of the sentence.
Grammar ~situation, reason から
Discuss or state the situation first, then you give a reason. (All in short form in most case)
Grammar ~ましょうか
Used when you are offering to do something for another person. (Shall I do xyz or I’ll do xyz)
