emotion and stands on its own. usually followed by exclamation mark
What is the subject?
noun or pronoun that shows what the sentence is about
What is the predicate?
verb telling what is happening to the subject.
Independent clause
has a subject and a predicate which expresses a complete thought. can stand on its own
Dependent clause
has a noun and a verb but does not express a complete thought. can not stand on its own. begins with a WASUBI TEET word
