Brush to 2nd aerial low position
Brush working foot outwards from 3rd or 3rd aerial very low to 2nd aerial low.
Retiré skips
Hop then step forward of backward aiming for a 90 degree turnout. The working foot should be fully stretched (pointed) and pass through 3rd aerial. (counted & 1)
The break for the Flora
Spring RF, pointing LF in 2nd (count 1), hop RF, making a half turn to the right and taking LF to 3rd rear aerial (count 2), execute a hop brush beat beat with LF, making a half turn to the right to face front (3 & a 4), execute 4 shuffles (count 5 & a 6 & a 7 & a 8 & a).
The intro for the Flora
Bars 1-4: Stand in 1st flat
Bars 5-6: Step to 2nd with RF flat, curtsey for 4 counts (bow for boys).
Bars 7-8: Step to left with LF flat (5, 6), point RF in 4th (7, 8).
The intro for the Scottish Lilt
Bars 1-2: Stand in 1st
Bars 3-4: Step to right flat and curtsey (bow for boys) for 3 counts taking the weight flat on the rear foot, make 1/8 turn to the right (count 4, 5) point RF in 4th (count 6).
