Advice for taking alendronic acid.
plenty of water while sitting or standing, and take on an empty stomach at least 30 mins before breakfast and to stay upright for at least 30mins after taking the tablet
A side effect of long term Letrazole use?
Osteoporosis
What is alendronic acid?
Alendronic acid is an oral bisphosphonate and inhibits osteoclast mediated bone resorption
What is letrozole?
Letrozole is used in post-menopausal women with oestrogen receptor positive breast cancer.
What do ACE inhibitors cause?
Vasodilation, Potassium retention, diuresis
Why must Renal function be checked before ACE-i prescription?
Hyperkalaemia
