What is the first amendment?
basic freedoms: (RAPPS)
religion, assembly, press, petition, speech
what is the second amendment
right to bear arms, gun control laws, registration and wait period
what is the third amendment
quartering of soldiers
can’t use homes as quarters except in war and lawfully

search and seizure: protects against government intrusion on property without good reason and warrant

rights of the accused: no double jeopardy, can’t testify against themselves, must have due process

right to a fair trial: speedy and public trial, will provide a lawyer if don’t have one, know nature of accusation, confront opposing witnesses
