A transcendent God is not within the realms of our universe, he is transcended. this means he is not limited, he is limitless. this God cares but takes no action in our lives. he is balanced against immanence.

an immanent god is within our universe, has helped us in the past, can help us in the present, and will be able to help us in the future.

Maybe God is an idea like prime numbers of infinity. maybe God is like a force which affects our lives but we cannot see ( like gravity)

A personal God is our friend and has a separate and unique relationship with each and every one of us. This God has very human characteristics and is concerned with our problems.
