A

Raising concerns informally and in a non confrontational manner.

Explain the behaviour is unwelcome and they would like it to stop.

Explain the behaviour is impacting adversely on them.

Focussing on the unwanted behaviour, rather than the person.

Not retaliating and maintaining professionalism.

A

Verbal or written actions

eg- sexual jokes, inquiring about a persons sexual activity, inappropriate comments, spreading sexual rumours.

Physical actions

Eg- blocking a persons movement,
Deliberately brushing up against someone, unwanted touching hugging patting or stroking.

Non verbal

Eg- offensive gestures, whistling, looking at a persons body up and down, following a person, staring in a suggestive manner.

Visual

Eg- posters drawings pictures,
Displaying in appropriate images.
