how is Ritzer’s theory of McDonalds criticised
McDonalds actually have a different menu for each country and involve their cultural foods showing it is a global brand and increasing cultural hybridisation
e.g. Egypt menu has falafel

- fail to see western economy dominates globally due to economic power
- western culture exploits other cultures for profit
