What is economic interdependence
Countries rely on each other for economic growth e.g oil
What is political interdependence
Countries are dependent on each other to solve issues that cannot be addressed by just one country
What is social interdependence
Greater connections create social interdependence between countries
What is environmental interdependence
Every country is dependent on the rest of the world to look after the environment. E.G Chernobyl explosion affected many countries
Issues with interdependence
Unequal flows of people create benefits and inequalities
Unequal flows of money can cause inequalities
Ideas about how the world works are dominated by developed countries
Globalisation makes some countries more powerful then others
