Duration of agreements - ATS is up for review in 2048, worries it won’t be renewed
Impacts of human activity - tourism and research doesn’t protect the environment, it negatively impacts it
Climate change - scientists can do little to prevent melting glaciers and warming oceans
Geopolitics - china and Russia want to claim land by establishing research bases - mineral exploitation later down the line
