Done in a lab
-half the participants were not given food for 20 hours(hungry group)
-other half of participants had food
(Control group)
-they were shown an image of food then the image disappeared…they were then told to adjust the brightness of image
What were the results
Control group-they made the brightness slightly different to actual brightness
Hungry group-made the image brighter
