If we enlarge one shape to make it bigger or smaller, then the shapes are said to be similar.
The corresponding sides must be in the same proportion and the corresponding angles are identical.

Congruent

A

Shapes that are exactly the same shape and size are said to be congruent. If one shape can become the other by a combination of rotations, reflections or translations then the shapes are congruent.
