In the Cenozoic time period, it was the ‘Age Of The Mammals’. Whales ruled the oceans and saber-tooth cats with the elephants and giant sloths.Then the humans finally appeared.
What happened during the Mesozoic time period?
In the Mesozoic time period, the shape of continents were different, they were all jammed together and they formed a super continent. During this time, the seasons were milder, sea levels were higher and there was no polar ice.
What happened during the Paleozoic time period?
During the Paleozoic time period, lush forests covered earth and there was a volcano eruption causing a large mass of extinction. Reptiles and giant insects roamed the earth. This time period ends with an ice age.
