Q

Aquifers

A

Made of gravel, sand, sandstone or fractures of rock like limestone.
A body of permeable rock which can contain or transmit groundwater.
Water can move through these materials because they have large connected spaces that make them permeable.
Speed at which water flows depends on size of spaces in materials, and how well spaces are connected.
