Here is a map of the territorial extent of the Canadian shield, the shield wraps around the Hudson bay and takes up 48% of Canada’s landmass.

The Provinces that are included in the Canadian shield from east to west are Newfoundland and Labrador (though Labrador is the only part in the Canadian shield), all of Quebec, Central and parts of southern Ontario, central and northern parts of Manitoba, northern Alberta and a small northern sliver of Saskatchewan.

The territories included from east to west is most of mainland nunavut and most of baffin island and the eastern part of the Northwest territories up to Yellowknife

here are some things to do in the Canadian Shield (which we go more in depth later)
You can climb the rocky cliffs in the shield, explore and hike across the rolling hills, explore the arctic tundra and the permafrost, and explore the lakes and ponds through recreation.

For activities in the Canadian shield, camp at parks such as Halfway lake Provincial park, Rock climb along THRILLING cliff sides such as panorama crag in Kenora, Ontario.
Fish and Kayak in the winnipeg river, Ski and Snowboard down any of the twelve ski resorts in Laurentian mountain, and visit the many Hudson bay trading posts, including one near Wagner bay.
