Happens when gas, lava, ash or rock escapes to the surface through openings in the Earth’s crust.
tuff
Volcanic ash and debris, caked together to form a layer of soft stone.
fertility rate
The average number of children that a woman bears.
NATO
Military organization consisting of different western countries who have promised to defend each other if they are threatened by another country.
