Cumulus
Low level clouds they are heaped cotton wool. Usually during finer weather
Stratus
Low level clouds which cover the sky like a sheet usually bring dull weather
Cirrus
High level clouds they are thin and wispy and made of ice crystals. They are seen in nice weather
Cumulonimbus
Towering clouds which can be up to 10km high. They bring rain
What is an air mass
A large mass of air that is blowing towards us
