Q

Chapter 1 - 11

A

presents God as the sovereign creator of Adam and Eve who made them for an eternal relationship with him, to oversee God’s creation, and procreate (1:28). Although man was created perfect (1:31), he sinned and introduced sin and death into this world. To restore creation back to its intended purpose, God promised a redeemer (3:15) and the book of Genesis develops this theme of redemption alongside God’s judgments
