Ephesians 1
Believers are chosen by Ggod (1:4), redeemed by Christ (1:7), and sealed by the Holy Spirit (1:13 - 14) to the praise of God’s glory (1:6, 12, 14).
Paul prays that they would comprehend the above realities in their Christian life (1:15 - 23)
Ephesians 2
Believers experienced election, redemption, and sealing while they were spiritually dead (2:1 - 10) and spiritual life brought them into a new eternity – church, which eliminates ethnic diversity (2:11 - 22)
Ephesians 3
The church is a mystery of which Paul is a steward and Paul prays that they would fully know the love of Christ
Ephesians 4
The Christian walk begins with unity (4:1 - 16) which is forged in the context of the humility of the local church under the oversight of spiritual leaders who are gifts from God (4:11 - 16) and is distinguished by holiness (4:17 - 32)
Ephesians 5
Christians should walk in love (5:1 - 7) in the light (5:8 - 14) and with wisdom (5:15 - 20). This kind of walk impacts every relationship, starting with the family (5:21 - 6:4) and extending to employment (6:5 - 9)
Ephesians 6
Paul ends the book with a motivation to fight the spiritual war (6:10 - 20)
