What is the subjective and objective data to collect for the general survey?
A
Subjective: health history, developmental milestones completed or delayed
Objective: physical growth is a sign of overall wellness and health… if growth falls within typical growth patterns

What is BMI?
A
Marker of optimal health
18.5-24.9 is normal
Indicator of obesity or malnutrition
But if you’re very muscular: overestimates body fat
And if you’ve lost muscle mass: it results in underestimating body fat
