Leap Electronic Data Recorder
allows mopf record crime incidents directly rather than filling in leap forms. generally taken on watch house duties or an attending member.
mainly reports cold property crimes where offender is no longer at the scene.
- criminal & wilful damage

- theft from a motor car
- theft
- theft of bicycle
1) Mopf completes ledr computerised report. Ledr will automatically notify local crime desk.
2) local crime desk will review electronic report, decide what action is needed & then forward the details to CDEB.
3) information then available to all mopf.

mainly for reports of crimes against the person or crimes against statute

- theft of MV - phone details to CDEB asap

- possess use drug of dependence
1) completed leap forms checked by sergeant
2) checked forms faxed to CDEB
3) CDEB enters data on leap
4) info then available to all mopf
