Fire Outside the Aircraft on the Ground:

A

Immediate actions

  1. Asses the Fire
  2. Notify the PIC (location, type and severity of fire)
  3. Calm and Reassure passengers
  4. Monitor the Fire and continue to advise PIC
    Secondary actions
  5. Deplane or evacuate at the PIC’s discretion (alternate exits may be used)

Pressure Seal Leak

A
  1. Notify the PIC
  2. Reseat passengers away from area, if possible
  3. Instruct passengers to fasten seat belts
  4. Do Not place any items in the leaking door seal
  5. When the air leak is associated with an exit door, do not touch any part of the operating handle
  6. When the air leak is at the MCD sit in the alternate jump seat if available
  7. Wait for further instructions from the PIC

Unwarranted Evacuation

A

Always be alert to the possibility of PAX initiating an unwarranted evacuation, If not controlled this could lead to widespread panic and serious to fatal injury to all involved.

When an unwarranted evacuation starts, immediately shout loudly and clearly, “REMAIN SEATED , STAY CALM.” quickly notify the flight deck and then take any steps necessary (including physical restraint) to prevent passengers from opening doors or removing exits. Enlist the help of other passengers if possible.

Expedited Deplaning

A

Receive EMG call from flight deck crew informing of situation and initiate a expedited deplaning

Monitor cabin for PAX who may panic “REMAIN CALM WE WILL BE DEPLANING USING THE MAIN CABIN DOOR LEAVE ALL OF YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS”
Turn on EMG lights and open MCD
Begin expedited deplaning of PAX through the MCD

  2. Notify PIC of location and extent of failure.
    During Daylight
  3. Check and keep passengers calm.

Decompression Immediate Actions

A

.say “mask on seat belts on. pull mask firmly to start oxygen” once pax have oxygen say “THE GEEN FLOW INDICATOR ON THE TUBING INDICATES OXYGEN IS FLOWING.” keep mask on until PIC notifies safe to take off
communicate and confirm with PIC it is safe to remove.
check the the lav to ensure not occupied…check pax to make sure no one injured…when flight is diverting to different location make announcement
