What is lymphoedema?
Atypical collection of lymph fluid within body tissues - result of failure to clear fluid + macromolecules by lymphatic system
Primary lymphoedema
Congenital insufficiency of the lymphatic system
Secondary lymphoedema
Can be caused by damage to the lymphatic system or removal of lymph nodes by surgery, radiation, infection or injury

Hodgkins lymphoma
Time frame for a benign lymph node

Highly suspiscious of Hodgkins lymphoma
Epithrochlear (medial upper arm) lymph nodes
Always pathological!
