A

Most common cause of hyperthyroidism
More common in females

TSH receptor antibodies

Extrathyroidal manifestations include orbitopathy, pretibial myxoedema (thyroid dermopathy), or acropachy, which do not occur with other causes of hyperthyroidism

A

Single large thyroid nodule showing hot area on scan + suppression of extra nodular thyroid tissue

Does not generally remit and needs definitive tx
