212ft 7in
What is the length?
206’6”
What is the height of the tail?
61’6”
What is the minimum width of pavement to do a 180 turn?
157.4 ft
What is the capacity of each main tank
69000 lbs - 10,300 gallons
What is the capacity of the center tank?
182,800 lbs - 27,290 gallons
What is the total fuel capacity?
320,800 lbs - 47,890 gallons
What is the standpipe level of the main tanks (what can not be jettison)
8500 lbs
What is the minimum runway width for 777?
148 ft, 45 meters
What is the minimum clearance from an object before initiating a taxi and why?
15 ft because the rear two wheels turn in the opposite direction of the turn so the back of the airplane and wing tip move opposite to turn direction briefly.
Max ramp weight?
768,000 lbs
Max Landing weight
575,000 lbs
Max Zero Fuel Weight
547,000 lbs
Ground wind limits for all doors?
40 kts while opening/closing
65 kts while open
Max differential pressure?
9.1 psi
Max allowable cabin pressure differential for takeoff/landing
.1 PSI
Max takeoff/landing altitude?
9,800 ft pressure altitude
Max field elevation
9,650 ft
Max operating altitude?
43,100 ft
Max runway slope?
+/- 2%
What is the turbulent air penetration speed?
At or above 25,000 ft = 280 kts or .82, whatever is lower
Below 25,000 ft = 270kts
If there’s a fuel spill, what don’t you turn on and how much distance?
WX radar within 50 ft.
Max takeoff weight?
766,000 lbs
What is the max speed for opening the flight deck side windows?
Vref + 80kts.
What is the backup system to the window heat?
Electric anti-fog for forward 4 windows if primary system fails.
What will cause the emergency lights to illuminate automatically when armed?
Loss of DC power. Batteries last 15 minutes.
When does the PAX/SPN oxygen system deploy automatically?
Cabin altitude above 13,500 ft.
When does door automatic flight lock occur?
80 kts.
When will the passenger signs come on automatically regardless of switch position?
Whenever passenger oxygen is on (cabin alt > 13,500 ft)
What is the alittude limit for APU starting?
43100 ft
When can you use wing anti ice on the ground?
Never
What is the requirment forusing engine anti ice on the ground?
Temp 50F/10C or less with: visible moisture (vis less than 1mile in fog), rain, snow, ramps contaminated or other precipitation.
When do you need to do an engine run-up before take off?
Temp 3C or lower and anti ice on ground requirement.
What is the run up procedure?
Pos and hold, engines to 50% N1, stable, check all engine instruments normal, then go, no time requirement at stable.
How often is the run-up required during extended ground ops with anti ice requirement?
Every 15 minutes.
What is an easy way to eliminate unwanted galley ordors quickly?
Tuen off the recirc fans.
What is the difference between wing and engine anti ice in flight?
Engine anti ice comes on as soon as the ice detector detects ice, more of an anti ice. Wint anti-ice waits for several cycles of the ice detector (detecting ice and being heated and cleared and then detecting ice again) before wing anti-ice is activated, more of a de-ice.
What does the autopilot disengage bar do besides disengage the autopilot?
Disables bank angle protection.
What warnings are flashed in red on the PFD with a corresponding oral warning?
ENG FAIL, WINDSHEAR, and PULL UP, TERRAIN (ENG FAIL is un-infibited from 65 kts to 6kts before V1)
Do not use the autopilot below ___ at airport pressure altitudes above _____.
100 ft RA at airport pressure altitudes above 8500 ft.
The maximum tank fuel temperature is?
49 degrees C
Tank fuel temp. prior to takeoff must not be less than?
-40 C or 3 degrees C above the fuel freezing point, whichever is higher.
ADIRU alignment must not be attempted at latitudes greather than?
78 degrees, 14.75 minutes
The following fuel and mixtures therof are approved for use?
Jet A, Jet A-1
JP-5
JP-8
What fuels are prohibited?
JP-4
Jet B
