What does the INHIBIT button on the door panel do?
Inhibits entry for 500 seconds, lights up the red LED in the passenger cabin panel. ~Door opens if INHIB is not pressed 30 seconds after EMERG ENTRY is pressed.
What’s a MAU?
Modular Avionics Unit. Cabinets that house modules assigned to different functions. MAU 1&2: forward electronics bay. MAU 3: center electronics bay.
How many ELPU’s (Emergency Light Power Units) are there; how are they charged?
4, DC BUS 1.
When will the emergency lights automatically illuminate?
When the aircraft loses its normal electrical power.
How long will the emergency lights last once illuminated?
10 minutes.
Where does the FA check the potable water and waste service tank system?
AFT FA panel.
What does a “service tank” light mean on the AFT FA panel? Tank full light?
Waste tank is 75% full. Waste tank is full, and the toilets are disabled.
What happens if a pilot selects EMER on the audio panel?
A red light on the cabin light rainbow illuminates. 3 hi-lo chimes sound in the cabin.
When is the emergency escape slide automatically disarmed?
If the main cabin or service doors are opened from outside the aircraft.
What indications are present to confirm whether or not the escape slides are armed or disarmed?
Armed: red ARMED appears above the respective door handle. Disarmed: green DISARMED appears above the respective door handle.
