What does apposition mean?
Apposition is when the second noun is an alternative title or provides further information about the first.
When is the definite article used? (3 uses)
When you talk about nouns in a general sense (Lo más importante es la esperanza), when you talk about a language and the language is the subject of the verb, to express ‘on’ a day of the week.
Does the partitive article exist in Spanish?
No. So avoid it.
When is the indefinite article omitted? (5 instances)
When used after ser or hacerse + profession, occupation, status. Or after sin, or with !que…! tal, semejante (similar), medio, cierto,otro.
