The Chivalry Thesis - He argues that masculinity is a social construct or ‘accomplishment’ and men have to constantly work at it, this may result in some men committing crimes.
What does Adler say? (MLT)
Masculinity Liberation Thesis - Women are becoming liberated from patriarchy, their crimes will become just as frequent and as serious as men. In this liberation it has led to a new type of female and a rise in the female crime rate.
What does Lombroso say? (AFOF)
Anatomical Features of Females - Due to the the biological features of women this tends to mean that they don’t become criminal.
