- You are professionally responsible for your actions
- Put patients interests before your own
- Apply principles when handling queries/ complaints
- Maintain GDC registration and work within your scope of practice
- If in doubt obtain advice from senior staff, appropriate professional body or GDC
- Take effective action to protect patients
- Promote patients responsibility for making decisions about their body
- Treat patients with respect
- Provide information about all treatment
- Ensure no discrimination
