What criteria is used to assess the severity of Ulcerative Colitis?
A
The Truelove and Witts criteria.
- Motions/day (>6 is severe)
- rectal bleeding (large is severe)
- Temperature at 6am (>37.8 degrees is severe)
- HR (>90bpm is severe)
- Haemoglobin (<105g/L is severe)
- ESR (>30mm/hour is severe)
