watershed are = splenic flexure due to least blood supply
Ischemic infarct (abdominal angina) SMA or IMA affected
-decrease blood flow to a part of the bowel due to narrowing or blockage of vessel
- pain comes and goes and usually increase after meal
Colonic ischemia
- occurs in watershed area commonly
