Q

Beta 2- adrenergic agonists purpose: expected pharmacological action?

A

Act by selectively activating the beta 2 receptors in the bronchial smooth muscle, resulting in bronchodilator. As a result -bronchospasm is relieved -histamine release is inhibited -ciliary motility is increased.
