- Instrument appoarches uses FMS guidance must be retrieved from nav database - inserting waypoints into published APP is prohibited
- Use of FMS as primary guidance is prohibited on the final APP segement not approved for GPS overlay
- Prior to FAF - ILS or VOR auto-selected course matches published APP
- Use of AP or FD coupled to GS for LDA-GS APP is prohibited - GS mode may not capture the glideslope on LDA APP

- Aircraft maneuvering shall not be based solely on information from SVT - SVT not be used for primary means of terrain, obstacle or traffic avoidance
- SVT shall not be used for primary guidance
- Descent below published IFR mins shall not be predicated upon use of SVT

- when landing at an airport not in the data base - TAWS inhibit must be selected on the GTC TAWS settings page to avoid unwanted alerts

- V-speed require field length and other performance info must be obtained but AFM, CPCalc or FMS
