A
95% OF THE BILE SALTS (~ 0.7% of bile) IS REABSORBED IN THE TERMINAL ILEUM
ONLY A SMALL PORTION OF BILE SALTS ESCAPES THE RECYCLATION AND IS EXCRETED IN FAECES
