Characterized by:
Six months or more of chronic, exaggerated worry and tension. Adults who have this disorder
worry excessively about money, health, family, work, being late, or other “minor” life circumstances.
Associated with three (or more) of the following six symptoms
Restlessness, feeling keyed up or on edge.
Being easily fatigued.
Difficulty concentrating or mind going blank.
Irritability.
Muscle tension.
Sleep disturbance
Children
Only one item is required in children. tend to worry about their competence and quality of performance.
How Common is GAD?

What Treatments Are Available for GAD?
