- oral candidiasis (thrush) AIDS pt
- peritonitis/ intraabdominal infection
DOC: fluconazole
2nd line:
- esophageal candidiasis: amphotericin B
- peritonitis: caspofungin

-oral candidiasis (thrush) non AIDS pt
nystatin
second line: fluconazole
Candida:
- pneumonia
- septic arthritis/osteomyelitis
- UTI

secon line: oral fluconazole
Coccidioides immitis
-pulmonary
fluconazole
second line: amphotericin B
coccidioides immitis
-meningitis (regular pt and IC pt)
amphotericin B (4-6 weeks) then azole (-regular pt: 1yr...... IC pt: for life)
cryptococcus neoformans
-meningitis
amphotericin B
AIDS pt:
-amphotericin B + flucytosine …. then continue to give flucytosine for life
Tinea capitis
griseofulvin
second line: terbinafine
tinea pedis
tinea corporis
tinea cruris
topical antifungal
second line: oral griseofulvin
