A nurse is a trained person who takes special care of the health needs of individuals.

Explain providing care
Care is provided namely by preventative - giving care before it happens. eg. immunization, vaccination and some contraceptions.) Supportive - Giving advice and helping one to adjust. eg. giving encouragement to help adjust to impending changes or giving referals to different communities and support groups like the cancer society.) Curative - (Giving medications or treatment for infections.) Rehabilitative - ( Caring for a patient by giving diversional activities to improve functionality and quality of life, eg. Physical therapy)
Explain Evaluation
Evaluations are used to assess whether or not nursing intervention was successful or if further measures need to be taken.
Assessing the health nedds of individuals involves;
looking at breathing

looking at the overll health of the community
