    - hands and lower extremities are in contact with the ground
    -feet can be in a plantar flexed or Doris-flexed position

  1. High standing - standing on a platform
  2. Step standing - one extremity is placed on a platform and the other makes contact with the ground
  3. Half standing - Hip is flexed and knee is flexed but they are not in contact with the surface
  4. Close standing - feet are parallel to each other and next to each other
