Fuel System Description
Fuel goes from the tanks through the Fuel Selectors into the Reservoir Tank which has a Boost Pump that is used to prime fuel lines during start and engaged when fuel pressure is low. The Reservoir also has an Ejector Pump which operates off motive flow (Once an object is in motion it stays in motion) next is the Reservoir Manifold, Shutoff Valves, Fuel Filter, Oil/Fuel Heat Exchanger, Engine Driven Fuel Pump (Boost pump can’t supply enough fuel to sustain engine operation) FCU, Fuel Transduer and Fuel Flow Gauge, Flow-Divider, Fuel Manifold and the 14 Fuel Nozzles
EX Fuel Nozzles
Duplex fuel nozzles, all operative during start
Legacy Fuel Nozzles
Simplex fuel nozzles, 10 active 4 standby during start
