Fuel Flashcards
(777, 756, 400) Recall from which tank(s) fuel can be jettisoned from.
767-300ER Only-Center tank only
(756) Recall which aircraft type(s) have a fuel jettison system.
767-300ER aircraft only
(756) Recall the meaning of the FUEL CONFIG light.
A lateral imbalance exists between the main tanks
Low fuel in either main tank
Fuel is in the center tank with both center tank pump switches
selected OFF.
(756) Recall the meaning of a FUEL JETTISON FAULT light.
A transfer valve(s) disagrees with the jettison switch position
(757/767) Know that with all the fuel pump switches selected to ON, the center tank pumps override the main tank pumps to allow center
tank fuel to be used before main tank fuel.
Provide roughly twice the pressure
(757/767) Recall the fuel jettison rate
Approximately 1300 pounds per minute from the center tank only.
(757/767) Recall the meaning of a L/R (Left /Right) pump PRESS
light.
A L/R fuel pump output pressure is low.
(757/767) Recall the meaning of an illuminated C (Center) pump PRESS light(s)
The fuel pump output pressure is low with the pump selected ON
OR
The associated engine N2 is below 50% with a pump switch on (load shed).
(757/767) Recall the fuel jettison system is NOT inhibited on the ground.
Don’t press
(756)) Recall where the indications of Fuel Quantity and fuel temperature are displayed.
