Fryer found that while blacks get shot at higher proportions, they’re more likely to be in dangerous situations where they’re resisting arrest or evading it; assaulting a cop, or interrfering in arrest; attempted murder on a cop at proportions that explain the shooting difference. Actually considering these criminal elements, more blacks are at risk of being in officer shootings than actually get shot
