Characteristics
A special quality or feature makes something different from other things.
Variation
Ever though plants and animal are of the same type, they can have slightly different features or traits, like different color, size or shape, making each individual unique.
Species
A group of living things that are very similar to each other.
Survival
The act of continuing to live or exist.
Reproduction/reproduce
When a living thing makes a new living thing that looks like itself.
Adaptation
A special feature or behavior that a plant or animal has, which it help it to survive in its environment.
Hibernation
State of deep sleep that animal enter during winter to survive the cold and food scarcity.
Migration
When an animal leaves their home environment to live in a new place based on environment condition such as weather when birds fly south for winter.
Camouflage
A patter, color or shape that helps a living thing blend into its environment. It is usually uses to help prey avoid predators or for predators not be seen by prey.
Habitat
A home for animal and plants where they need to survive such as water, food and shelter in a specific place.
Instinct
The ability of animal to perform a behavior automatically and without thanking in certain situation.
