This is a single Grand Cru with 7 vineyard designations
The Main Soil Of Chablis Is:
- Kimmeridgian Clay
- Limestone
On the Chablis AOC and towards the Grand Cru vineyards
In Petit Chablis The Soil Is A Little Bit Thinner More:
- Portlandian limestone
Which gives more watery and thinner white wines
River Which Separates The Chablis Region:
- Serein River
On the right side of the river you can find all the Grand Crus
There Are 40 Vineyards That Are Designated To Premier Cru Status, Some Of The Best Are:
- Les Vaillons
- Forets
- Monte de Tonnere
The Grand Cru as Mentioned Before Have 7 Vineyard Designations And These Are:
- Bougros
- Les Preuses
- Grenouilles
- Vaudesir
- Valmur
- Les Clos
- Blanchot
There is another vineyard designation which is unofficial and this is a Monopole of Domaine Long Depaquit which is called Moutonne
