Q

System

A

Mandatory health insurance from the federal government. You’re placed in an insurance fund(health insurance plan) based on occupation. It’s not a single payer system, instead patients are covered through one of the health funds. The benefits include impatient, outpatient, prescription drugs, some long term care. Not dental and vision.

The second part is private insurance. This is primarily employee based and like medigap, makes up cost sharing differences with hospitals and primary care. Also covers dental and vision
