- breaks in a spiral due to twisting
- happens a lot in younger children (their bones are more flexible)

- bends and cracks on one side
- almost exclusively in younger children

A
Happens from diseases, parasites, or bacteria in the bone

- limb breaks all the way through
- muscle pulls out/shifts

A
- dent in bone where bone has been smashed
- happens mainly in the skull
