what is the 14 amendment?
known as ¨reconstruction amendment”

what do the 5th and 14th amendment provide?
fifth- citizens can’t be held for a crime unless they have been charged by police, due process
fourteenth- protects due process, no state may deprive people born or naturalized equal protection under law
